M° Giuliano Carella will conduct soprano Nuccia Focile in the role of Alice Ford in Verdi's Falstaff at the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg, in the production directed by Giorgio Barberio Corsetti. Performance dates are: June 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, July 3, 5, 2009.

Mezzo Annie Vavrille will make her debut at Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and in the role of Amando in Ligeti's Le grand macabre conducted by M° Zoltan Pesko directed by La Fura dels Baus. Performance dates are: June 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 2009.

Soprano Majella Cullagh makes her debut as Elisabetta in Gaetano Donizetti's Roberto Devereux in London conducted by M° Richard Bonynge for Opera Holland Park. Performance dates are: June 2, 4, 6, 10, 12, 18, 20, 2009. Celebrated soprano Dame Joan Sutherland, married to M° Bonynge, will attend the performance on June 2, 2009.
